Career History

After being inspired during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and over a decade of working in a mundane world of manufacturing management, targets and timetables. It was time to break free of engineering and follow my interest of sport and exercise, into a career that would give me the satisfaction I craved.

With no formal anatomy knowledge, I enrolled into 4 more years of Adult College and University Level education whilst balancing this with my employment and family life.

Now a fully qualified Sports Therapist I was lucky enough to be offered a part time role within the medical team of a professional football club ‘Shrewsbury Town’, to whom I will always be indebted too, for giving me that chance. With these I was able to gain valuable experience working in an elite environment from both a pitch-side and clinic based rehabilitation point of view.

As well as Shrewsbury Town, I was also seeing/treating local patients privately and also held the position of Sports Therapist with my hometown football club Newtown AFC, in the welsh premier league. After a good number of years juggling all of this it was time to take the leap of faith and pursue my Sports Therapy career full time.

From there I held position of head Sports Therapist at current National league side ‘Wrexham professional football club’. Also work for my country at national level for the Football Association of Wales, therapist to some of the very best athletes in the world, Lecture at University and own a thriving private clinic based at a gym I co-own locally. I have also recently been assisting FIFA in their Coach Education program.
